Good location for Real Madrid and a short walk to Chamartin station. Not too sure if it’s 4* status, (no coffee facilities in room, is always a let down) but it was clean and the bed was comfortable enough, the room didn’t get too hot and stuffy which is usually a difficult thing to control usually in a hotel. We paid for breakfast, but wasn’t overly impressed,with it. Would definitely stay in again,as long as price was €100 or under

They had 4 stars maybe 30 years ago, but it is not the case anymore. Despite a good service and a decent breakfast, the rooms are old and not maintained at all. In front of the bus station of Plaza de Castilla with commuters returning home in suburbs at night, you do not even feel very safe. Ok it is close to the metro, but this is it. The hotel absolutely need a total refurbishment, both in common areas and in the rooms. The pictures shown on the website are very close to scam, simply. Avoid this hotel if you can.

We were Extremely disappointed with this hotel..We have stayed in many , many hotels in Spain and this is a 2 start at the vey best..the photos on the web site are very misleading, the bathrooms are old and the room was dated and run down, toilet door would not shut, windows, would not stay open, Air con was heating only, we had to ask reception twice for pillow cases.. The bed was rock hard and we hardly slept...I very early leave reviews , but I feel the one is a must read....please look elsewhere for a 4 star hotel...because this isn't one!

This hotel was just okay for us. After seeing it in person, I was actually surprised that it's advertised as a 4 star hotel. It's old and dated. Very visible wear and tear in the bathroom tiles and the furniture. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, no cushion at all. It does a have a decent reception desk and nice entry but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I think it could really use a face lift. The main benefit was that it was close to the airport. Thankfully we only booked it for one night before we flew out of Madrid but I would definitely not book this one again if I had a choice.

Very simple and comfortable hotel. I would advice to split breakfast between biz people and holiday groups. Last Thursday I wasn't able to have breakfast as a enormous queue was standing in front of me and had only 15 min.
